Radiux now lists more than 66 Million white page records that include an FoaF file for each record.
FoaF is an acronym for Friend of a Friend, an experimental project and vocabulary for the Semantic Web. The Friend of a Friend project is creating a Web of machine-readable pages describing people, the links between them and the things they create and do.
FoaF is about a person’s place in the Web, and the Web’s place in the world. It is a simple technology that makes it easier to share and use information about people and their activities (calendars, weblogs, photos etc.), to exchange information between Web sites, and to automatically extend, merge and re-use it online.
The goal for the Radiux semantic web style White Pages is to provide reliable, valuable online connections between individuals. Participants will have to verify their entries using more than just a free email account.
