Google meets eBay at Craigslist

Monday, July 30th, 2007

The homepages of Google, eBay and Craigslist are among the most visited web sites on the Internet. A lot of people thought it would be a great idea to be able to search all these sites from just one single start page. At Radiux.com users can now equip their search box not only with these functions but also add WikiPedia, Amazon and other services to his or her individual search box.

Hula Hoop - Sell 100 Million in 2 years

Saturday, July 28th, 2007

Watch the Video!Hoops have a 3,000 years tradition. In ancient Egypt hoops were made out of grape vines and were propelled around the ground with sticks. In 1957 the Hula Hoop was reinvented by Richard Knerr and Arthur Medlin, founders of the Wham-O toy company. Two years after its release Wham-O sold had sold over 100 million Hula Hoops.

While reading the history on the hoop we thought this can be a great inspiration to Radiux. Granted Yellow Pages are only about 115 years old and 100 Million in two years might not be too realistic (but who knows). Anyway, we definitely had great fun integrating the Hula Hoop into one of our video promotion - watch the video here.

The Radicals are Coming!

Friday, July 27th, 2007

VOW - our first couple of Radicals are done (Google calls them Gadgets, Yahoo calls them Widgets). Radicals enable users to create their custom start page on Radiux.com. For now they seem to slow the personal page down quite a bit but we should be able to find a solution for that. Looking darn good!
